Day Thirty-One of Thirty-One.

Happy Halloween!  This past month has certainly flew by, as I had a hunch it would.  October was filled with so much excitement, anxiousness, tiredness, and patience.  It seemed to take forever, and yet be over in a blink of an eye.  We began the month with the hope of accomplishing much.  I think this writing challenge opened my eyes to see that it was so much more.  Sure we managed to finish the kids' rooms, minus a few door knobs, filled trim, and painted doors, but these littles of mine certainly taught my heart much.  So, I end this challenge feeling just as tired as perhaps, I thought I would.  However, this bitty heart of mine feels really, really full.

I snapped this photo of Orson this morning, as we had a rare uninterrupted hour together just being.

I think it is my first favorite photo of him.  Embodies the peace and tiredness that this past month has brought.  Grateful for both, no doubt.
