Ona was particularly helpful.
She spent much of the time playing independently, which is something rather new for her. She found her nature box in the garage and went on a nature hunt all by herself. She was so proud and so full of burrs.
Reminded today that when you work hard for something, it is okay to be proud--not haughty, but a humble sort of proud. It is nice to look out and see progress in our first fall clean-up at the farm. I am daily blown away that we've been given this bitty farm to care for. Even if it is way more work than we could have imagined. It has changed our lives for the better, no doubt.
Now, if only that whole going into labor thing would pan out.
Day 28 of 31 of the #write31days challenge.
