We broke out all things baby today. So crazy to see bottles on the shelf, three car seats in the van, and a packed hospital bag in wait, again. It was kind of exciting, really. As we were pulling things out, we began to get a bit nostalgic. Old toys and old stories came out. The girls indulged us. They made the old toys and old stories even more exciting. It is funny how everything, even old things, can become new and thrilling. Our little girl was entirely enamored with your everyday squirrel this afternoon.
While we were digging out old toys, our big girl rekindled her love with the piano--one thing we miss having on our first floor.
These ordinary things became really big things for these girls. Kind of like our old toys, old stories, and those bitty baby bottles on the shelf tonight.
