Withdrawal and Ponderings.

I have to admit it.  I am really sad to not have a purpose to sit down on Saturday nights and edit a bunch a photos of my baby girl.  Her weekly photo ended a couple of weeks ago and last week we were scrambling to finish the girls' play kitchen.  Tonight, though, I felt a smidge of a void.  So, I got to thinking.  Last weekend Ona and I snagged this dresser at a weekend antique market.

We had been on the lookout for a mid-century modern-ish dresser for our bedroom.  We've had my childhood dresser since we got married, but it wasn't something we were necessarily wild about.  My pondering tonight is whether or not to add hardware.  I have done a little searching, but I haven't found anything that I super love.  I don't mind it without, but am kind of for adding it.  Maybe only on the six side drawers?

Then there is that mirror.  My grandparents salvaged that out of an one hundred year old building in Florida a number of years ago for me.  I never knew what to do with it.  The mirror needs to be replaced, as it has fogged with age.  I was kind of thinking of removing the mirror and putting a big wedding picture in it.  So, it would kind of be like this.

Minus the camera and with a wedding dress and tuxedo.  I thought it might be a sweet way to reuse a really thoughtful gift.  And finally.  I picked up this little wood cup/vase/thingy this week for a buck.

It kind of makes me smile for some odd reason.  There you have it.  Just a bunch of ponderings for this snowy Saturday night.
