Day Six.

It is late, friends.  So, a quick snapshot of today via before and afters.  It was all about the floor today.

We used peach floor paint.  I may try and squeeze in another coat before we move in, but we'll see.

Kerry, my dad, and my sister-in-law were floor laying crazies today.  We will have better "afters" once we extricate all of the mess, but here is how the upstairs is looking tonight.

Ila's bedroom and basement carpets got the royal treatment today in the midst of the madness.  Yes, there is a finished area of the basement that we haven't spoken much about yet.  It isn't something we are touching prior to moving in.  The basement is currently rocking geese wallpaper, brick, and a huge bar with more cedar shakes.  Picture that.  On the to do list, for reals.
