Day Seven.

Ah, it is one in the morning!  Renovations are coming along peachy.  Literally, ha!  We begin the moving process tomorrow.  Here is what happened today.  I took this lady shopping with me to Home Depot.

I do love Ona's crazy blue accent wall.  However, I think it is a smidge too modern.  So, I might change it tomorrow and go the purple route.  You live, you learn...am I right, or am I right?  Ila's closet was painted today, as well as our double master closets.  The color is bold, like really bold.

I have a nature inspired plan for those puppies.  And the purple-like, brown-like, black-light color will (hopefully) be the sweetest backdrop.  Oh, and I added a second coat to the basement storage area.  It helped soooo much!

The garage was looking a little shakey.

My sister-in-law and I worked until after midnight cleaning this beasty.  It is looking so nice now, but I forgot to take a picture.  Ya know...the only reason we would deep clean the garage is because THE FLOOR IS DONE.  Oh my goodness, we have family to thank.  We had a five man crew for much of the afternoon.

We are so incredibly thankful!  Rembember, the living room looked like this a few days ago.

And tonight, we shut the door on this.

The change is crazy.  All of us signed the final board, woot!  And a few more glimspes.

 

Tomorrow, a drywaller is on tap to drywall all of our changes.  Seven days in and our first hired trade.  I am pumped!
