The Littlest and the Green Chair.

And just like that, this little green chair has become something special.

For some families it is the staircase or the front stoop.  For my family it was always my parent's brick fireplace.  First day of school pictures, school dances, special moments, etc. were always documented in front of that brick fireplace.  It isn't anything overly special and yet it is.  My first memory of that fireplace is sitting at the hearth while my parent's home was being built with my Garfield lunch box and meeting my next door neighbor for the first time.  Little did I know then how many hundreds of photos would be taken in front of that brick fireplace or how that neighbor would become like a sister.  Somehow, this chippy, green chair has become that fireplace.
