I have always thought it would be super interesting to live through the lens of another person for a day. Wouldn't it be completely surreal to react differently, experience differently, and see differently? I don't think that I will ever get the chance, and I am sort of thankful for that. I mean, it would be kind of weird too. I must admit though, that ever since Ona opened her birthday Vtech Kidizoom Spin and Smile digital camera (Ona's is pink), I have gotten glimpses of what it would actually be like.
This new toy ranks up there with Sockie, dog, puzzles, and her Franklin stuffed turtle. High ranking, I tell you. It has two eye holes, so she doesn't have to try to squint through one eye. Genius, really. She has taken almost four hundred photos. Most are blurry. We are trying to work with her on holding it still until she is finished taking the photo. Here are some of my personal favorites.
The camera is only 2.0 megapixel, but that is good for printing photos up to 4" x 6". I hope to make a little album of her photos next year. Somebody hold me to that, will you?
Oh, and I wasn't paid or perked to talk about Ona's new toy, but I do think that it is the bee's knees-ers.
