Bows.

She is clothed with strength and dignity {AND BOWS}, and she laughs without fear of the future.
{Proverbs 31:25}

Some people have joked that our girls came into this world wearing bows.  It's true, I love me some bows.  There is just something uber sweet about girls in bows.  Cliche maybe, but sometimes cliche is right.  Or maybe it is simply because it shouts to the world, "Yes, my little one is a girl!"  This doesn't necessarily avoid the awkward, "What a handsome little guy." encounters completely, but it helps.  Anyone else been there?  Not going to lie, perhaps my biggest pet peeve.  Anyways, many have asked where we find the girls' bows.  It is not a short answer, but here are our favorite shops.

Jolie Berry My favorites are her little bows. {update: her shop is currently closed and is hoping to reopen soon}
Sew Whimsey This is one of my favorite shops ever.  Patricia, the shop owner, is wonderful to work with.  Each of our girl's have their statement headbands that have become quintessentially "them."  They are both from Sew Whimsey.
Ivory Kate Fun modern bows.
Local kid's shop (our favorite is Infinitely Sweet) sometimes have great displays of solid headbands.  We like taking plain ribbon headbands and attaching cheap bows from places like Charming Charlie, H & M, and Forever 21.
So there you have it. A round up of our bow secrets for your Monday.  Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I spent mine with these two.
Sugar and spice... and little girls in bows.
