Baby girl is drawing nearer and nearer. Seriously, in five weeks we'll have two mouths to feed, two little tushies to scrub, two sets of clothes to fold ... woah. My to do list is twindling and I am finally feeling ready. When I pulled out the handmedown bins, I realized that we have a hecka crazy amount of mini sun dresses, which is perfect
for February in the Midwest for an excuse to go shopping! We snagged a few long sleeve cardigans off of Target's clearance rack #ihaveanobsession and checked clothes off of the to do list. One of the last things that was on the list was to take a mini maternity photo shoot with baby girl as a bump instead of a babe. Wait, that sounded weird. You know what I mean. So we packed up our favorite big sister and headed to take a few photos. It was colder than we thought, so we weren't out long. Our original location was actually closed for the season, so improvised we did and came away with this mini collection.
Family Photos.
Daddy and Ona.
These are some of my favorites of these two yet.
And we wrapped up with just me and baby girl.
I don't know about you, but I find maternity photos a bit awkward. There is just something weird about posing with a burgeoning belly and finding the right place to place your hands on said bumpity bump. I am sure this baby girl will appreciate us forging through the awkwardness on her behalf someday. Ha.
Thank goodness for tripods and baby girls!
