On this Good Friday, we found ourselves enjoying the warmish weather with our first family bike ride. We searched Craigslist high and low for a number of weeks before finally settling on purchasing a new bike trailer for our little gal. We went with Giant's Peapod Duo (more kids, someday) She seems to like it.
I don't know, seeing her in a bitty helmet makes my babes seem so old! We all cruised together for just under six miles. Kerry was a natural and Ona instantly fell asleep.
Oh, and Kerry replaced my too-skinny-for-comfort tires on my hybrid bike with knobbier, mountain bike type tires for all the path riding we are hoping to do this summer.
As much as we are thankful for the afternoon off of work, we are outrageously in awe of the real meaning of Easter. He is risen!
