evolution::day 2

The hubs' parents [aka: Grandpa & Grandma] graciously offered to help paint gal babe's nursery.  This was a huge blessing ::remember this post where I spoke of my painting inabilities::?  The hubs is a fantastic painter, but this certainly helped speed things along [in a matter of speaking].  Gal babe's grandparents are somewhat of painting experts/perfectionists.  This = great job done right, even if it takes a wee bit longer.  We color matched the ceiling paint with the ceilings in the rest of the house.  The walls are the aforementioned Benjamin Moore Granite color matched to Pittsburgh Ultra.

Here's the sneak peak::

The gray seems almost menacing at first, but we cannot wait to show you how it actually dried!

Here is the hubs, while caulking the trim in the closet.  Admittedly, I have waaay too much fun cackling while snapping pictures of my husband's behind.  Oh gal babes, you don't know what you're in for!  Annnyways, we are planning on painting the closet Portland Gray, the same color as the
failed
attempt at artsy on our doors.  ::see it here::  We think the color contrast will be neat when the doors are open and will serve as a serene background color when gal babes decides to use the closet for a fort or a secret place to play house.

There you have it, evolution day 2.  If you are wondering why there are no photos of me, well it's because aside from painting the trim in the closet I was the official sandwich orderer, pizza delivery girl, and camera snapper.  And, boy did I fulfill my duties well. Kidding! Gal babes is just overly blessed with family that love her soo much already they bend over [pun totally intended ^^] backwards to make her nursery super special.

Evolution::Day 3 tomorrow.
