gal babes' things.

Waaaay back in this post I spoke about my ridiculous excitement about decorating gal babe's nursery.  So, it probably comes as no surprise that I was overwhelmingly stoked when I stumbled upon this ottoman at Marshal's over the weekend.

I didn't even really have plans to stop at Marshal's, but somewhere, deep down my innate motherly nursery decorating strings [yes, they do exist] pulled me in for a quick look around.  I immediately saw the ottoman and had to have it.  It is the exact color scheme we are going for [gray, yellow, cream, and will go well with cranberry].  Don't worry, I did keep the receipt in case the hubs wasn't as outrageously wild about it as I was ... buuut it's a keeper, remember that whole wrapped around her little finger already? I think he about loves everything her.  We figured it would be functional::feet prop-er and soft place to hold on to when she starts moving around and stylish::not so everyday baby design.

Our gal babes has accumulated a few items so far::we picked up this glider off of Craigslist about ten weeks ago already!  The find was definitely cause for a hold hand and jump up n' down moment.  It is a really soft mint green color in practically new condition.  We are not wild about the color, but I have this deep desire to put an uber soft [maybe faux fir] throw over the rocking ottoman and a coordinating throw over the back of the glider to shy away from the greeny.  The hubs also brought up three of his childhood storybooks for her when we cleaned out the basement a few weeks back.

Oh, and we will have an update to gal babe's nursery paint color choice(s) soon.  Annnd if you're wondering why we need two ottomans in one babe's room, we really don't know... just never know when another one may come in handy and it was too durn perfect to pass up!
