valentine's surprises.

I may not win wife of the year, but after last night, maybe I should.

I did, however, have a bunch of candles lit and some n.j. [norah jones] playing when Kerry came home from work.  I had just popped a frozen pizza in the oven, sooo romantic right?  Lest I let you down, this wasn't any ordinary frozen pizza, it was a frozen Godfather's Pizza that my brother graciously brought me from Iowa.  Godfather's happens to be the hubby's beyond absolute favorite.  So, pizza by candlelight was the name of the game.  Oh, and the dozen red roses symbolic of our twelfth Valentine's Day together spread around the house added to the romanticistic mood of the evening-- it's so easy to love him.

To top it off, I picked up the Spring/Summer 2011 Edition of The Knot Chicago [a magazine produced by The Knot which focuses on Chicago and surrounding area weddings], that had graciously chosen a photo from our wedding to be included in their Bonus Footage feature.
