A few weeks ago we spoke of our friends' wedding in Canada. Well, we had a blast making their wedding gift!
Both Amanda & Matt are incredibly musically talented and simply wonderful Christ-like individuals. Thus, we found it fitting to use a 1953 edition of Reuben Youngdahl's Living God's Way as the back image. Much like our musical note decor [earlier post], we used photoshop to print a piano on the title page of the book. We incorporated their names as if it they were titles to pieces of music and their last name as if it were the brand of the piano. The date of their wedding is hidden towards the back of the piano. We salvaged the front cover of the book and pasted our card on the back. Being a daily devotional, we snagged the devotional for the date of their wedding and included it in the gift, which was fittingly about being grateful.
It was a joy to work on their wedding present and is an even greater joy being friends with these two!
