So, I (Heather) signed up for a photography class through Rock Valley College, a community college in our town. Apart from the fairly obvious reason of wanting to take better photographs, I guess I simply wanted to capture something with my photos outside that good 'ole obvious. So our very first assignment was to photograph ... Mirror, bumper, the whole car, an old car, a new car, a car in motion, a parked car….your call…but something you take this week! Thus, I found myself spending a portion of my Sunday afternoon hunting around for a junker in some weeds. I wasn't wholly successful [no weeds], but stumbled upon this lovely junker and coined it my subject.
Three cheers for a reason to hunt out rust buckets.
